Customs Fees

Updated yesterday

When placing an order from a country outside the European Union, your parcel may be subject to customs duties or import taxes. These charges vary depending on the destination country and are imposed by local authorities. They are the responsibility of the recipient.

Why Are There Customs Fees?

Customs duties and import taxes are fees set by each country to regulate imported goods. Their amount usually depends on the value of the order, the type of products purchased, and the specific customs regulations of the destination country.

What Should You Expect?

Before completing your order, we recommend checking the import rules and potential fees in your country. These may include:

  • Customs duties (calculated on the order value)

  • Value-added tax (VAT) or equivalent

  • Additional handling fees from local customs services

Customer Responsibility

Customs duties and import taxes are not included in the product price or shipping costs. They are therefore payable by the customer once the parcel arrives in the destination country. If fees are due, the carrier will contact you directly to arrange payment before final delivery.

What Happens If You Refuse to Pay?

If you choose not to pay the customs duties or import taxes, the parcel will be returned to our warehouse. In that case, return fees may apply and will be deducted from your refund. Additionally, the original shipping costs will not be refunded. We strongly recommend taking possible customs fees into account before placing your order to avoid any inconvenience.
